The City for Solo Travellers

Goodbye Europe

View Europe on chriskk's travel map.

The final leg of my 5-weeks work/play trip to Europe, and Netherlands was a 2 day stop for me. Amsterdam especially is great as I took a quick free tour around the city. Of course, I had to tip our guide, but she's pretty nice, and gave loads of information about the spots that we visited

Basically, anything goes in Amsterdam. The people are cool with almost everything.

The buildings that are leaning here and there....

Not so surprisingly, I veered towards the city library :D

The famous red-light districts is off-limits for cameras, but the hand-on-boob sculpture is still available to snap.

Hmm....it's interesting to see the various patterns of condoms...

I passed by Anne Frank's house. The line was freaking long. Eventhough I did not bother to visit, it was sort of a pity as I really did have interest in it.

It's Punch & Judy! What luck that I get to see it in real life :)

Being the typical tourist, I just HAD to go to the famous Zaanse Schans to see the windmills. The place is swarming with tourists and truckloads of buses, but it was still a great trip overall.

This was the end plot to the places I've been in Europe. I missed out on plenty of great places to travel to, but definitely, I hope to one day return again and plot more memories.
